Item Level Shipping Cost
Using the Seller Portal User Interface
- While entering the items data under the Details Page enter any item level shipping rates under the Shipping Cost: Ground, Shipping Cost: Expedited, or Shipping Cost: Premium fields.
- If you do not wish to add item level shipping for a particular shipping method, leave that field blank.
- Once all data is entered click ‘Save’ to submit the item.
Using Bulk Excel Templates
Item Level shipping can be set using the Item Class Template located in your seller portal under Products > Browse & Edit > Bulk.
To set it:
- Locate the item class for the item you want to add or edit using the item class tree in “Step 2:Download Template”.
- If editing an exising item make sure the ‘Include Item Information’ box is checked.
- Click ‘Download Template’.
- Fill out all required fields on the template, then add the item level shipping cost for any appliacable item under columns AE (Shipping Cost: Ground), AF (Shipping Cost: Expedited) or AG (Shipping Cost: Expedited).
- Review the Data Defnitions Tab within the template for more information on these fields.
- If you do not wish to add item level shipping for a particualar shipping method, leave that field blank.
- Once complete, save the template then upload under “Step 3: Upload Template”.
- Review the error report if errors are received.
Item Level shipping can ALSO be set using the Pricing Template located in your seller portal under Products > Browse & Edit > Bulk.
To set it:
- Download the Pricing Template by clicking ‘Download Price Adjustment tempalte Download’ under “Step 1:Download Content Item Class Commissions”.
- Fill out all required fields on the template, then add the item level shipping cost for any appliacable item under columns M (Shipping Cost: Ground), N (Shipping Cost: Expedited) or O (Shipping Cost: Expedited).
- Review the Data Defnitions Tab within the template for more information on these fields.
- If you do not wish to add item level shipping for a particualar shipping method, leave that field blank.
- Once complete, save the template, click the radial button for ‘Price Adjustment under “Step 3: Upload Template” then upload.
- Review the error report if errors are received.
